Is this really free? What's the catch? |
Yes, our conference calling service is free, and there is no catch. BV FreeConferencing won’t charge you anything for using our
free conference calling service anytime, anywhere. Everyone who participates in your free conference calls, including yourself, will dial a regular
toll number (not toll-free/1-800). Any cost incurred is dependent on each participant’s long-distance plan. The conference calling service
itself is absolutely free. You can use it as often as you want, for as long as you like. There are no strings attached.

How often can I use this free conference calling service? |
Use BV FreeConferencing as often as you like. You can host as many free conference calls as you want with your account. The conference
calling codes you receive when you sign up are yours to use anytime you need free conference calling.

Currently there’s a maximum capacity of 250 people per conference call.

Yes, you can use any telephone connection method that provides access to a US-based telephone number.

Can I record my free conference calls? |
Yes, you can record your free conference calls by pressing (5) then (*) on your telephone keypad anytime during a call. The call is
recorded and an MP3 file is posted on your Recordings page on our website. To access your recorded conference calls, log on to Basement Ventures
FreeConferencing with your bridge number and moderator PIN. You can preview, download and post the MP3 file(s) as you like.

Can international callers participate in my free conference call? |
Yes, any caller who can dial a US telephone number is able to access our service and participate in free conference calls.

Is this a Voiceover Internet Protocol (VoIP) service like Skype™ or Vonage™? |
No, this is not an Internet phone service like Skype™ or Vonage™. Basement Ventures uses the same phone network most people use every day.
However, our free conference calling service does allow access from VoIP services, including Skype™ or Vonage™.

Is this free conference calling service secure? |
Yes, each host receives a four-digit security PIN to access the free conference calling system, providing a much higher level of security than
other conference calling services. You can also manage your call in real-time using our Web Manager, which allows you to disconnect callers
and lock your conference calls at any time.
